The Roland Juno Gi is effectively a major upgrade from the Juno G and as such has 128Mb of waveform ROM (which incidentally is twice as much Waveform ROM as its pre-decessor the Juno G) and now contains over 1300 sounds. The Gi has an arpeggiator and can also manage chord memory functionality but perhaps the most welcome addition to this new keyboard is the 8 track recorder, as is the usual case with Roland the sonic features and qualities are up to the highest standards and the recording resolution is 16-bit 44.1kHz. Simply connect to the line or mic inputs and away you go, two tracks can be recorded simultaneously, and tracks can also be bounced together to create additional track space - plus you can also record direct from the synth itself. Data can be recorded onto either an SD or an SDHC memory card which makes it easier to move the data about ... The internal recorder has its own dedicated rhythm track and provides the capability to add insert effects to the input and record them too, then master and export. The conclusion to all of this is a 16-bit WAV file which can be imported to your computer and subsequently for burning to a CD, or for further editing.It must ...
