www.newegg.com It's time to share some benchmarks for our new test bed -- and what better way to kick things off than with an Intel Core i7 980X CPU and two Radeon 5870 video cards in Crossfire? Overkill? - probably. Screaming fast? - definitely. While this kind of bleeding-edge CPU & GPU hardware is impractical for most builders, several of the "lesser" components in the rig did stand out - The Corsair 750HX PSU performed admirably and without problems, even with the maxed-out hardware load. - The ThermalTake Frio heatsink/fan kept idle temps around 32 C and load temps at 50-60 C. - Intel's 40GB X25-V SSD is a fantastic performance drive at an affordable price (for a SSD), particularly with two of them in RAID 0 as a boot drive. - Corsair's 800D chassis is remarkably full-featured and provides plenty of room to work. - Credits - Cameraman, Lighting & Sound: Paul Editing & Effects: Lam Music by 1Left -- myspace.com/1left

Full Video Review: www.youtube.com Running a couple of benchmarks and playing some games on the Asus G75VM, as we get to test it's most powerful config, with a quad-core Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7-3720QM, 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD storage and Nvidia Keplar GTX 670M graphics with 3 GB of dedicated video memory. I'm running some of the standard test, including Cibebench, PCMark Vantage and 07, 3D Mark vantage and 11, plus some video and some games (NFS Shift 2, COD: Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2, Dirt 3 and Crysis 2) and you'll see that all these games are playable on native Ful HD resolution with details set to maximum. I'm not running Battlefield 3 or Skyrim in this video, but you can find more about those in the written review. Spoiler alert: Battlefield runs on Ultra and Full HD resolution on the Asus G75VW, and so does Skyrim. More details in the written review.
