Call T-Mobile to find out how much you would pay, or visit the website. Q: This or the Nexus 1/HD2/Evo4G? A: This is based on your opinion honestly. The N1's/HD2/Evo's specs absolutely demolish the specs on this phone BUT even with that said some ppl can't be without a physical keyboard myself included. (PART 1) Similar to my Samsung Galaxy S Full Customization Guide, this guide for the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G is designed to get you from your freshly bought phone to a customized powerhouse. The the first and second parts of this tutorial will show you how to: 1.) Install ADB onto your computer 2.) Fix the issue with ADB not recognizing the MyTouch 4G 3.) Temporarily and Permanently root your MyTouch 4G 4.) UNLOCK your MyTouch 4G WITHOUT having to purchase an unlock code from HTC - any GSM carrier (eg. AT&T) will be able to be used on your MyTouch 4G after this tutorial :) The upcoming parts to this tutorial will cover installing custom roms, mods, tweaks, and themes. Those parts of the tutorial will be uploaded in the coming weeks.
