Also compares its speed to the IBM PC and XT range of machines. Of course, this was recorded with my webcam and no editing was done, so the quality is quite a bit lower than my normal videos. And since I rambled in the video, here's a bit more of a coherent explanation of what I'll be doing. 1. I will be getting an XLR mic to replace the current mic I'm using. The XLR mic will be running into a pre-amp, then into a mixer, then into another pre-amp before running into my computer, so the audio should be a bit better than the quality I get from my current mic. 2. I DO NOT know why my mic will sometimes be crackly. It's either that something was causing a problem in the mic monitoring headphone jack, the cable was garbage (replacement cable on the way, just in case), the mic is busted, or the more likely problem is that even though it uses its own sound card, the audio from it is still running through the sound card on my computer, and since I only use integrated audio right now, it ends up being too much for my computer to handle. 3. After I get an XLR mic, pre-amps and a mixer, I will be getting a GOOD sound card. 4. The XLR mic, pre-amps, mixer and sound card will take time to get. Sadly, it will take until March to get the mic setup, and April for the sound card. But if I can get my bike sold, seeing as I don't use it and the thing is expensive, then I can get the mic setup AND sound card all at once and a lot sooner. 5. Other than Minecraft, I currently have no games planned for this year. That WILL change, and I will get games done ...

Well, here it is: my second Let's Play. I know I might be dissapointing some people who seemed keen on me doing Lands of Lore 2, but I have been having a huge amount of problems getting that to work on my machine, as well as to record it effectively. Lands of Lore 2 most certainly is on the cards and will probably be the Let's Play after this one though. This game, however, is closer to my heart and is a game that I truly cherish and hopefully, one you will learn to cherish too. Managed to make sure there wasn't any sound problems this time, simply by turning the master volume down. We'll see how this effects my mic performance, but I get the feeling a lot of my videos are going to be very large, file size.

This video has nothing to do with airplanes or helicopters, just a little more history. Digital guitars, synthesizers, and the new Q-Chord, this time. It plays 84 different chord combinations with the touch of a finger on a flat, textured "strumplate" and more with extra plug in cards. Fully equipped with standard electronic keyboard features and 10 different rhythm styles. The instrument is divided up into three sections; a touch sensitive 'strum plate', a rhythm section, and chord button section. Each of these areas can be used independently or combined. There are many wonderful and varied sounds obtainable from the strum plate and the combination of different musical sounds achievable is both impressive and unusual! When plugged into your stereo or amp, you will not believe the high quality sound. Because the Q Chord takes the hard work out of playing, it makes the art of making music more fun and therefore allows more creativity with regard to composing music. As a composition tool therefore, the Q Chord is unmatched with regard to its versatility and portability. There are many famous artists who use the Q Chord (or old Omnichord) such as Jarvis Cocker, Robbie Williams, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Brian Eno, Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr and Bjork to name but a few! In this video I clean the dust out of a Toshiba Satellite laptop because the exhaust vent was 100% blocked by dust causing the laptop to over heat and shut down.
